Welcome
True healing begins in the body—but it doesn’t end there. I offer somatic psychotherapy and breathwork therapy to support trauma healing, nervous system re-wiring, and reconnection with your authentic self.
With over 25 years of experience as a psychologist and therapist, my work is trauma-informed and rooted in Compassionate Inquiry (trained with Dr. Gabor Maté), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness and embodiment practices. This integrative approach invites healing not just as personal relief—but as a pathway toward a more connected, compassionate world.
Because when we tend to the wounds within us, we interrupt cycles of disconnection and create space for something new—individually, generationally, and collectively.
Whether you’re moving through anxiety, relationship patterns, or a deeper call to come home to yourself, this work meets you where you are—with care, presence, and a belief in what’s possible.
Your body is not broken.
It is wise. It is adaptive.
And it is ready—when it feels safe—to unwind what’s been held for too long.
How to work with me
I offer a range of trauma-informed therapy services to support your healing journey. Whether you’re seeking one-on-one therapy or a group experience, each offering is designed to help you reconnect to your body, your heart, and your deeper truths.
Private Therapy
In these individual sessions, we explore the root causes of your emotional patterns and trauma through a somatic therapy approach. Using methods like Compassionate Inquiry, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and embodiment practices, we’ll work together to bring awareness to the sensations and patterns held in your body and nervous system. These sessions are focused on creating a deeper connection with yourself and integrating the parts of you that have been fragmented by past experiences.
Somatic Therapy is for you if:
-
You’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or burnout
-
You’re working through past trauma or emotional wounds
-
You want to explore and heal negative relationship patterns
-
You long to feel more grounded and present in your body and emotions
Private Breath Therapy
Breathwork therapy is a powerful tool for emotional release, nervous system regulation, and deep healing. In these one-on-one breathwork sessions, we use intentional breath practices to release stored trauma and reconnect you with your body’s innate wisdom. Breath therapy can be an incredibly transformative experience, especially when combined with somatic psychotherapy.
Breath Therapy is for you if:
-
You want to release stored emotional tension or trauma
-
You feel disconnected from your body or your emotions
-
You seek to cultivate a deeper sense of calm and nervous system regulation
-
You’re ready for a profound, body-centered healing experience

Listen
When we listen and open with the vastness of our body and heart we find innate wisdom and all-inclusive love.
I have seen many therapists, but working with Kat has superseeded anthing I have done before. Working with Kat has been one of the most profoundly healing experiences of my life. Her presence is gentle and deeply attuned. Through tuning into my body and my sensations I’ve been able to access and release things I didn’t even know I was carrying.”
Kat is like human Radox! She is one of the wisest, feistiest, tenderest beings on the planet and is one of my absolute safe goto places when I’m losing it.
Kat has shown me how to really inhabit my body—it is so much vaster than I allowed. She shows me how to welcome myself with courageous openness and real presence. In that full presence, days become richer, more vivid and amazingly easeful. Responses are more spacious: more space to do what I love, more space to do what I don’t love, more space to welcome what might not be easy or ideal, more space to connect and more space to have fun. More focus and more easeful efficiency. Amazingly, more energy too. No longer needing to avoid, facing everything with more maturity and poise, real honesty and giving myself space to learn and grow.
About Me
I have been curious about the nature of reality and the human experience since I can remember. In 2002, I completed my degree in Human Psychology and presented my first paper on understanding how humans construct our reality at Oxford University. I now have over 23 years of experience and extensive training in somatic psychotherapy, Compassionate Inquiry, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and have taught mindfulness around the world. I find nothing more fulfilling than helping others discover their authentic nature. I know that beyond our learned fears and adaptive patterns there is deep freedom, safety and love at the source of every being.
I have completed a professional training with Dr. Gabor Maté, who is renowned for his groundbreaking work on trauma and its impact on the body and mind. I am currently being supervised by Dr. Maté and his team to become a registered Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner.
I have been mentored by Sumir Brown who is one of the founders of Heart IQ. Through this training I learned personal and group embodied practice and circle work to access and heal shadow parts of the self.
For me, healing is not just about individual transformation; it’s about contributing to the collective healing of humanity. I see my work as a form of spiritual activism—healing the individual and, by extension, healing the world.
Currently, I’m pursuing a PhD in Breathwork Ceremony for Intergenerational Trauma Healing, further deepening my commitment to healing trauma through breathwork and somatic practices. My work is rooted in the belief that healing trauma—whether at the individual or collective level—can lead to meaningful change in the world.
